ABOUT

ADAM SUTHERLAND is an award winning producer/filmmaker living in Philadelphia, PA. 

Adam is from Alabama, where he attended The University of Alabama graduating honors before moving to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his career in TV/Film. Adam performed stand-up comedy at the World’s Famous Comedy Store, trained in improvisation at the Uprights Citizen Brigade, and was a production assistant to Craig Ferguson during his 2x Emmy Award performance on Celebrity Name Game

During Adam’s tenure in Los Angeles, he began a full service digital media production company called Good People Media that started with a viral web-series, Tinder Conversations To Life. As an active SAG-AFTRA member, Adam’s experience on camera inspired him to start producing and editing his own work. Adam was the Editor and Associate Producer on Craig Ferguson’s HOBO FABULOUS stand-up tour. He supervised and edited Digital for RuPaul’s DRAGCON 2019 at World of Wonder, where he was also the Assistant Editor for Liberty: Mother of Exiles, a HBO documentary on the Statue of Liberty. He has assisted and coordinated projects from development to delivery for major networks like HBO, Nickelodeon, NBC, CBS, PBS, FOX, Esquire, E!, Viceland, Bravo, National Geographic, and The History Channel. In addition, Adam’s creative direction earned him the #1 BEST MASCOT in 2018 for the professional sports team The Los Angeles Aviators

Adam has worked within the corporate entertainment space directing/producing internal videos, VR immersive content, and commercial work for industry leading brands like the Milo’s Tea Company where he won the BizJournal 2023 Summit Award for Best Leadership Program. Now with over ten years of diverse experience working in stand-up comedy, documentaries, narrative features, commercial, and non-profits, Adam continues to enjoy the changing Hollywood landscape and the burgeoning creative agency of corporate entertainment.
